Beginning Tai Chi

From the beginning of the Solo Exercise Form at Preparation through 22 movement sets concluding at the Form’s major division marker with the movement set called Crossing Hands, this course covers the most fundamental movements and principles that are used throughout the entire Form.

Picking up where Beginning Tai Chi ended, this course covers the remainder of the Form, from Embrace the Tiger to Return to the Mountain to the final Crossing Hands.

Tai Chi Form Improvement

This course is designed for those who have learned the Form and want to become better at doing it. We usually go through the entire Form in depth, drilling on many basics and, too, subtleties of internal energy, mind sets and mental effects, rooting, breathing, body alignment, weight transfer, upper-lower body relations and particular finger-foot relations.
